When is the right time to buy?
This is an especially common question for first time buyers. When should you buy a home? Well, the main consideration should be whether you can afford to buy or not. If you don’t have the moment, now is not the right time. If you have a steady job, a good credit profile and know you can afford your monthly payments, then now might be the time.
Trying to find the right time based on the market is an almost-impossible task. No one knows the peaks or troughs of the market until they have passed and no one can accurately predict when they come. If you try to wait until the market is at an “ideal time” you’ll likely carry on waiting forever.
In short, you should look at your own personal circumstances and not external factors to decide when the time is right for you to buy. If a property is listed at a price you are happy with and you can afford to pay that price, that’s the time to buy.
