Make moving easier
There’s a simple tip that can really help when it’s time to pack up your belongings after selling a house: pack things into boxes by room and label appropriately. So, for example, all the items from your dining room will go in a box or boxes that will be labelled “Dining Room”.
When you move into your new home, you can ask your movers to place the boxes in the new home according to the labels. This will make organization and unpacking much easier and simpler.
The one exception for this should be items that you expect to need straight away: food, a few plates, cups and cutlery, for example. This way, the items for immediate use can be opened straight away and used while you can take your tie with other things.
